
I don’t know about you, but spinach doesn’t seem to keep well for me in the fridge. I generally store extra spinach in the form of frozen smoothies.
Today, I had a bit of left over spinach and I’ll be heading out for the weekend – so I need to use it up before I leave. I always keep frozen fruit in the freezer for just an instance.
- 2 cups frozen fruit
- 2 large handfuls spinach
- 1-2 cups water
These leftover smoothies can be frozen and used as an ice pack on a weekend getaway.
